Movie-ness

I saw this article this morning and found it funny because this could have been an interview with me: Star Wars Article

It's not that I think they are bad movies, they just never interested me. Over the years, I've made several attempts to get through them beginning to end, but I inevitably get bored and go do other things. I suppose this makes me un-American, but there ya go. Oh. And I've never seen Citizen Kane either. I couldn't even tell you what that one is about or who is in it. I have, however, seen Weekend at Bernie's. Get it, heheh?

I guess I'm a deprived movie watcher. I tend to pick out movies for their entertainment value not to find hidden meanings and/or for political motives. Al Gore will never get my $20 to buy his DVD.

  1. I never saw any Star Wars either. I just never made it through. I also have never seen any Lord Of The Rings. I tried, I really tried. I just couldn't do it. I have never seen any Matrix and I have no desire to. However, I did see every Disney animated movie they made. I saw the Sound of Music many times. And I love Gone With The Wind.

  2. Well, at least I'm not the only one. I saw the first Matrix and didn't like it at all. I have the box set of the Lord of the Rings. I really like the movies but the books were way better. I'm pretty sure that I've seen all the Disney movies. I've never seen the Sound of Music and I love Gone with the Wind too. I need to read that book.

  3. Oh. Forgot to ask, did you get the Citizen Kane/Weekend at Bernie's part? I figured out of everyone, you would have gotten why I mentioned it the way that I did.
