Made Some Changes

I’m not doing the WordPress thing yet. I’m just not sure it’s for me and it seems like too much trouble for right now. Instead, I uploaded a new design. It’s really simple and I’m not sure that I like it. I prefer more color. White is hard on the eyes. Finding a three column design that I like is difficult business.

Anyway, stuff that is missing is a list of blogs that I read and a list of websites that I frequent. Blogger recently added an “add your subscription” widget that I tried out on the previous design. You may or may not have noticed. I didn't like it because my list is WAY long. I need to figure out how to add a scroll bar to it. I've done it before I just have to remember how, lol. Until I've settled on a new design, I'm not adding those lists because they take too much time. Between the two, I'd have over 100 links to add. Also, some of my clickable stuff is missing because the code didn't copy. I'm sad because I didn't make a list of what was there and I don't really remember.

With not having anything to blog about these days and my newest obsession with the design, you're all lucky I just don't dump the whole thing and crawl into a hole.

Now, I'm sleep deprived, annoyed, and starved and there's nothing to eat in my house so I'm leaving.

  1. I like it! I tend to pick white backgrounds but I was recently looking at a blue recently. It just didn't look good with my format.

I found a template I LOVE but I can't figure out how to get it all uploaded. It used to be a WordPress template that was reformated for Blogger. Anyway, it was too complicated for my brain. haha.

  2. Thanks Pam. I don't love it yet though. I'm going to give it a few days before I make up my mind.

Is the template an XML file?

  3. Hi, Wordpress did give me a lot of headache when I was touching up my other blog. Blogger too! But I like both of them as I've grown comfortable working around them. I'd spend days trying to figure out the codes and even the widgets and plugins!

If you need any help, I can try to assist you! Just e-mail me if you feel you can't handle it anymore. :D

  5. I like it, Trisha. I've been considering fiddling with my design. Maybe asking someone to do something up for me, but then I worry that if I don't like it, will the person feel bad if I don't use his or her design? And is it worth it?

  6. LF~~Thanks. I thought about having someone make me a layout too. This one I'm using now is a freebie from a blogger that makes them for pay too and she has some really cute designs and she will make custom designs too and for only $15. The link is clear at the bottom of my page if you want to check it out. $15 isn't much of a risk, ya know?
