Every Monday when I'm trying to think of a title for my post the song Monday, Monday by The Mamas & The Papas pops in my head which, in turn, makes me think of Kathy Reichs' book Monday Mourning. Today is no exception.
Aside from the Mister's adventures on Saturday, we had a pretty dull weekend. We had some friends over Saturday night to help us eat $43 worth of free pizza courtesy of Dominos. On Sunday we went to Target, Walmart, and the pet store looking for one of those dog collar, cone things for Hannah. She has a sore on her face that she keeps scratching and now it's an open, oozing wound. We couldn't find one in her size though so the search continues.
Today and tomorrow my plans are the same: homework, laundry, and packing. I have to get a week's worth of homework done today and tomorrow because I don't want to have to take it with me. I'm on spring break next week so I won't have to worry about homework the last part of my trip.
Now I'm off for lunch and, you guessed it, homework.
wait a minute...free pizza!? how'd you manage that?
ReplyDeleteWe had a delivery mishap the last time we ordered pizza and to make it up to us, they gave us our exact order again the next time we ordered (which was Saturday night) for free. The first time, it took them 1 hr 30 min to deliver our pizza.
ReplyDeleteScore! but I know you would have rather that they got it right the first time. It was still great that they actually compensated you though.
ReplyDeleteTitle for this...
ReplyDeleteStrange Things I Think Of On Mondays
Pam~~Yes, perfect service would be preferable but I think correcting mistakes is just as important.
