The Ten Cent Tour

Tonight is the end of a very busy weekend. I hardly remember where the time went.

Saturday, we took the first load of boxes and the paint over to the new house. I also packed and cleaned the old one some more.

Today, we took three more car loads of boxes to the new house and put primer on the two bedrooms. Check out the before pictures:

These two are the oldest child’s bedroom. The top is standing in the doorway looking in and the bottom is standing in the opposite corner looking out. This room will eventually be purple.

These two are of the youngest child’s room. Same angles as I did in the oldest child’s room. This room will eventually be a different shade of pink but the bottom will remain white. It’s wallpaper that looks like wainscoting and I really like how it looks.

Want to see the rest of the house? Sure ya do!!

This is the living room as you’re standing in the kitchen looking towards the front of the house.See the cubby above the fireplace? That’s where the TV is going to go.

The is the kitchen as you’re standing in the living room looking towards the back of the house.

Another shot of the kitchen as you’re standing by the back patio doors looking in.

This shot is taken as you’re standing by the cabinets looking in toward the living room. That pillow and the dishes belong to Flash, the owners’ most adorable Basset Hound. We tried to negotiate keeping him but they weren’t having it, heheh.

These pictures are of the FROG. That’s Finished Room Over Garage for those of you that don’t acronym everything to death like we’re used to doing. The top picture is standing at the top of the stairs looking in and the bottom is the opposite corner looking towards the stairs and closet. This room is going to be a deeper shade of blue. It didn’t require primer thank GOODNESS!!!

I didn’t take pictures of the bathrooms as I don’t plan on painting them.

I’m very tired. When I’m done here, I’m going to bed and it’s not even 10 yet. I tried doing some work tonight but I sent dumb e-mails twice to my supervisor and I feel really retarded so I’m giving up. Peggy, if you’re reading this, don’t worry! I’ll get the work done, heheh.

I have so much more to say but it’ll wait until tomorrow. I’m having problems forming complete sentences and then typing them correctly.

Nighty night.

I can't wait to see the pictures when you're done painting. We didn't paint at all her because of not knowing how long we will be here for. I didn't want to have to paint again if we have to move soon. So the kids are stuck with just pictures and posters on their walls. All the bedrooms and hallway except for the master are a (gray) clay type color. Not bad for boys but not so nice for girls, lol.

  3. Thanks ladies. I'll definitely post pictures when I'm done. I took the camera with me today but forgot to put batteries into it, heheh.

  4. really nice. I love the color blue in your oldest kid's room. I always love to see what colors people pick to paint rooms with because I seriously have no vision at all. lol!

BTW, thanks for the ID on my spider picture. "he" was quite the sight at my back door.

  5. Thanks Pam. Both girls picked out their colors themselves. But, I love picking out paint I just don't like the actual painting part, lol.
