After much deliberation, I decided to go ahead and join the aforementioned reading challenges. I figure that I can read all of them since I have the whole of 2008 to do so. I also created a website that lists the challenges and books that I've decided to read so that I have somewhere that it is all consolidated. You can find it here if you're interested: Reading Challenges
These are the things that I do when I don't have school work bogging me down, hehehe.
Wow..that's already quite a list! I admire your ambition. I'm more of a "pick a book up that I'm in the mood to read" person. Sticking to a list woudl drive me crazy I think. I already bailed on the Anne Knit and Read Challenge. I've read them before but wanted to reread the series. I'll finish it up at the first of the year but I'm way off track with the schedule.
ReplyDeleteI'll be surprised (and an idiot) if I join anymore challenges this year. I think three is enough plus the monthly read for the book club.
ReplyDeleteUp until now, I've been a book picker upper too but I like the idea of being organized about it. I think that's why the challenges appeal to me.
That is a lot of challenges. The first one, one book a month I may join, but the others, forget it.
ReplyDeleteYou should join in with me on at least one. It's fun for us to be able to do these online deals together with you on the west coast and me on the east. It makes it seem like you're not quite so far away.
ReplyDeleteHow do you argue with that? I am joining. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, don't let me guilt you into it, lol. ;)
