L and I spent the day at the beach today. It was pure bliss going there without the kids (even though my kids are awesome at the beach) and with someone who only wanted to lay on the sand and read a good book. We also hit a local beach dive for some lunch. Quiet. Peaceful. Ahhh.
Oh. And speaking of books...I put down Wicked and have started one of the books on my R.I.P. list. I had considered giving it up because I'm swamped with people and with work, but I figure I can give it an hour or two a night after everyone goes to sleep and I'm done with school work for the day.
Now, I'm off to mediate an argument. It's nonstop at my house these days.
